Cypher 2012

Hindi man kami nahirang na champion, alam kong sa puso ng lahat ng mga sumuporta sa amin, kami ang panalo. I congratulate CYPHER 2012's Champion, AB-JOURN BEATS and LEX BAILE (second runner-up) for winning.

Of course, I congratulate the first runner-up of CYPHER 2012! TPSF's CRITICAL!!!

Spent the Night with my Dearest Friends

I'm actually so tired because I came from a training which started from 11am and ended at 10pm. I actually missed a lot today:

1. Our class' meeting for our GEP documentary
2. The neo-centennial mass with Archbishop Socrates Villegas in UST (this is heartbreaking)
3. The fireworks display in the Arch
4. The 400th year closing concert for all Thomasians

Well, this is what I get from joining competitions such as Cypher. I always have to sacrifice things because I cannot do two things at the same time. But nevertheless, I should always keep in mind that I chose this path, so I shall not complain.

This is a blessing from God and His plans will always prevail. Besides, whatever talent or gift that I have now came from Him and each connotes a responsibility that I should fulfill.

Thank God, I have my friends with me always. They are my precious gems, and I will  never hesitate to spend a night with them, knowing that it'll be one of those extraordinary and memorable nights that shall be treasured  as we live.

    simula nung sinabi mo na magiging madaldal ako dahil katabi kita, naappreciate na kita nun  hehehe, nga lng talagang takip bibig ako pero hindi ko pwedeng hayaan na ganito i need to start speaking and be sociable lalo na kukuha ako ng law after graduation. A friend always appreciates a friend in many ways. :))

It's because I'm so hyped, it's 3am in the morning and I browsed my friend's blog [that really made me smile], here's a tribute-slash-post-slash-letter for my bestfriend, Katrina Grace Ongoco. By the way, you look so pretty in this photo. 

Dear Kat, 

Among the three of us (Ap-Kat-Lalaine) you are the sweetest, and you're the most talented. I look up to you because you're the epitome of humility. You're the ComDev Head for a reason. You're my first friend in college and will be my bestfriend until time and space will be defined. While reading your blog, I can only see sincerity and honesty with every note/poem/letter you post. From the one liners, paragraphs and open letters. You're the same Kat as before, my seatmate in first year - just add the long curls. We've seen eachother cry, laugh hard, have stomach aches, hate and love. We have witnessed eachother's strengths and weak points. We tolerated eachother's moodswings, fads and craziness. We have shared the fight against deadlines and sleepless nights. We've seen eachother grow and mature from girls to becoming awesome ladies. 

You taught me how to handle things correctly, to have fun and be responsible at the same time. You shared the same sentiments regarding 'law school or not?'. You gave me good advice for my confusion and endless questions about 'assessments and uncertainty'. Most of the time, you act like a child - sharing a lighthearted aura. We bully Lalaine most of the time. I just want to tell you that someday, it will be your turn to be happy. Our turn to be happy. You have been into tough battles lately (heartaches and stuff) but don't fret, good things will come - the right place, the right time, the right person. Continue doing the things you love and continue sharing love to us, your friends. Your experiences will assist you to take the right moves this time. Things will turn out well for us, maybe not today but soon. Let's spend more time since it will be our last semester.

PS. Totoo lahat ng sinabi ko Kat. At dahil mahilig ka mag-pray, alam ko one day pagbibigyan tayo ni God at bibigyan niyang kasagutan ang lahat. Mahal na mahal ka namin ni Lalaine.
