In a storm,
all I wanted is silence,
for it to stop and
to see the sky either
blue or yellowish brought
by the smiling sun
rising from the heaviness
of the squall.
In a hospital,
I wish to see people
healthy, smiling and
being assisted by the nurses
and doctors instead of
hearing the cries brought
by the hurt of
being tired and sick.
In a garden,
I want to smell the
freshness of every flower
planted with butterflies
transferring from one to
another and never to see
the petals and leaves dry.
In a coffee shop,
I wish to see an old enemy,
address my apologies and
befriend him or her,
forget about all the past
chews and be reunited for
new memoirs to
cherish in life and remember.
In a car,
I want to drive fast,
the fastest that I could
for me to see different
places for at least an hour
drive and appreciate
His creations and meet
diverse personalities
from different dwellings.
In this box,
I wanna see the
good of having a free
space and realize that
this emptiness will
eventually be loaded
as time meets its purpose.
In my dreams,
I wish to see You,
embrace You and thank You
for all the heartaches,
trials, and problems which
made me realize how
blessed I am to live.
