Date with my OJTmates @ Dads

What: Date with my OJTmates
When: October 26, 2011
Where: SM Megamall (Dads) and Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process

It’s been months since me and my OJTmates last saw each other and because we still have enough money, which came from our bosses in OPAPP as our allowance, to roam around and enjoy, we decided to bond this sem break.

It was not easy for us to arrange a date where each of us will be available because of the conflicting schedules that we have. The number one kontrabida would be me, for I have the most excuses in life like the scheduled meetings, earlier appointments, other dates with my other friends, and the like. Actually, I was supposed to attend Gen’s, my co-officer and co-dance-troupe member, debut in Jade Valley, Tomas Morato that same day. However, because our boss in OPAPP invited us for coffee and doesn’t want us to go home early, I was not able to join her birthday celebration.

Moving on, because we’re so rich (of course, this is just a joke) and hungry (thou we’re always hungry), we decided to use our money wisely, so we went to Dads and Kamayan to enjoy a 389php worth eat-all-you-can, although we originally planned to watch Vice Ganda’s Praybeyt Benjamin.

Eat-all-you-can, yes we can!

Next stop was the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process where we had our internship last summer. While walking from SM Megamall to OPAPP, we can feel the additional weight that we gained from all the food that we ate which made it difficult for us to walk fast so as to see all the employees in OPAPP. Thankfully, God is really good. We still saw some of our close OPAPP employees like Ms. Girly, Sir Bong, Sir Allan, Sir Johnnel, Sir Anton and Sir Don.

Am I a beautiful monster?

We chatted with Sir Don and Ms. Girly for almost an hour and decided to have coffee in Starbucks with Debbie, my OJTmates’ friend from Merriam College who volunteered to work in OPAPP during the sem break (yes, for free).

Another day to treasure and remember: Me, Mina, Debbie, Sarah and Janelle

by the way, she’s Debbie. Another beautiful rose from MC.

See, though we’re not complete, because Kate and Riane were not there, and we also missed Praybeyt Benjamin, we still managed to enjoy our date and made this day super duper special. I really cannot explain the extraordinary feeling whenever I’m with these people whom I never anticipated to be this special to me. It makes me extraordinarily happy. I will never trade each day or memory that I had and will have with them. I wish to spend more days with them, more bonding moments and more dates.

*fingers crossed while wishing and praying for this friendship to last forever*
