Lord, I know I should wait
for the right time and lace
when and where I could meet
that person you planned to live
with me as I wake up each day.

Lord, I know I shouldn't be sad
for you'll always be at my side
guiding me no matter what path
I choose to turn and no matter
who I choose to be with.

Lord, I know I must not be jealous
with my colleagues who are loved
for I know you are there to
make me feel that I am
loved and cherished for all my life.
